This reduces hands-on maintenance and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it must be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L, which will last for four to five cleaning sessions.

Similar to the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. However,  Suggested Reading  i3+ EVO only stores one map, whereas the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The i7 is also able to utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO can't.

While the i3+ EVO is more effective in picking up surface debris than some of the other robovacs we looked at, it's not the best for cleaning edges and corners. It's also more abrasive on furniture, despite being remarkably quiet. It pushed chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our bed, and was stuck to cords and toys while testing.

2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro

If you're looking to increase your robot vacuum collection or just starting out using one, the Q5 Pro is a great option. It packs serious power, a smart navigation system, and handy automation into a sleek design at an affordable price. This robot does an excellent job cleaning bare floors and its avoidance technology helps it stay clear of furniture legs and other obstacles. The only drawback is that it's noisier than other models and doesn't perform as well in our owner-satisfaction and predicted reliability tests.

The Q5 Pro has a very large dust bin of 770ml which means you won't need to empty it as frequently as some other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240 minute running time is also generous when compared to other 2-in-1 robots we tested. If the battery is depleted it returns to its dock and recharges before resuming cleaning where it stopped. This is one of the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. This, along with other innovations, helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests for vacuuming and mopping tests. You can schedule cleaning times, set no-go zones, and check the battery's condition, among other things. The app is simple to use, but it isn't compatible with Apple HomeKit. That feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. Apple changed its footnote on its website in the beginning of November to reflect the fact that the feature was delayed until 2025.
